Richard Dean Anderson Petition

RDA of course...

*gasp* "other things being offered"? Any guesses on what that might be ...:rolly2:

I third that - it's better than good...it's great...to dream. :) Corny, I know. But true. :p

like i said philo, i dont know what just some things, we will have to wait and see though if its enough:rolly2:

I do agree that a petition is unlikely to sway RDA. He's declined conventions for years.

If a petition is to be done, I'd rather sign one that said SPEND MORE TIME ON THE SHOW than please come for one hour to make a few fans happy at a convention.

I respect his personal time, and if he's said no, I think it should just be left at that....

well its still worth a shot, i mean come on we should get at least one shot to see him dont u think:(:rolly2:

Yeah I agree with Penguin. I rather have a petition on getting Macgyver on DVD :)

aww u guys are no fun, well im gonna hold out for him coming and either be disapointed or horribly happy:p:rolly2:

Petitions...

For thos who want petitions for other things - go for it. Nothin' stopping anyone from trying. Folks can be for more than one thing. ;)

My take on it? It's more likely for RDA to come to a con right down the road where he works than it is for him to make a major change in his lifestyle to shoot more than 3-3&1/3 days a week.

But we won't know until July comes. :D

i'm confused

I've been following this post. I would be very happy if he came as well. But here is what confuses me. You said this:

I must have missed something. Is RDA not going to be in the show much this season?? I also hope this isn't the last:)

most likely season 8 will be the last, and i hear that hes gonna be in a limited role, meaning he wont always be around:rolly2:

Yeah - Tim's got it - well, as much of it as we know, anyway -

RDA is going to be in S8, but probably even less than he was in S7 (or even S6 - he seemed to be in S7 more than he was in S6 - very weird, anyway) -- and S8 will be the last season for SG-1.

But - we have Stargate Atlantis coming up - it begins the Friday of Gatecon on SciFi - so, if you're in the US -have your VCRs set up ahead of time -

And who knows, RDA might agree to make a guest appearance or two on Atlantis --- same with the others - you just never can tell...
