Piers Anthony

I have read a number of his books over the years and enjoyed most of them.:)

One book I read was Quest for the Fallen Star. I thought it was great story but as it was a few years ago, I'm not sure if this was actually one of his books.

If it was, would someone please put me out of my misery? I just hate it when I am unsure of the author of something I have read. :)

I liked piers anthony when i was younger but havent read any of his books for years the xanth series is aimed at a younger audience but i enlyed them although never read them all read about 5 or 6. I've read all the incarnations of immortallity and liked all bar the last 1 incase you dont know the first 5 (not in order) on a pale horse (death) bearing an hourglass (time) being a green mother (nature) wielding a red sword (war) on a tangled skein (fate) the 6th was about the devil and the 7th was god they were mostly about normal people taking over as these dietys.

another good series from piers anthony you should try is the tarot trilogy a sci-fi/fantasy crossover which i loved:D

I've read some Xanth books but I've only GOT a few which I'm a bit peeved about. I have Source of Magic which I believe is the sequel to A spell for Chameleon, and I have Vale of the Vole which I believe is a start of a trilogy. Both books I havn't read the others in the group which annoys me even more. Ive also read Man from mundania, piers anthony's autobiography and some other Xanth books which I can't quite remember right now

the xanth books, while part of a continum are all stand alones, ie no sequels. at the moment i'm building a collection for myself:)

I've finally got my hands on a copy of A Spell for Chameleon the first book in the Xanth series :)

My library couldnt get it in for a while, due to it been needed by other libraries in the county. I have a whole list of books I'm trying to get through the library and not one of them is in my local one

Anyhow I'm rambling. I've heard this series is quite good, though there seems to be a lot in this series.

Anyone else read them?

It's a unique and excellent fantasy series. I love the puns.:D
