im looking forward to oweek.... pre oweek and post oweek aswell
ive only got one prelim lecture on wednesday, which is much better than last year... last year i was a lonely first year who didnt participate in any day stuff, this will not be the case this year
a late night msn conversation with shelby, tom and shaun has made me wonder where we all are and what we have been doing. stargate may no longer keep us insanely posting in this corner of the web anymore however, it seems a shame to all fade away into oblivion.
Oh dear. It's been a long time since I have been around here, hasn't it? Ah well - New Year gives us New Beginnings, eh?
I'm still at university - my fifth year. I went part-time last semester due to health issues that took up some time, so I will be graduating in 2006 instead of 2005.
If OWeek is boring by 4th Year .... I think I will be zoning in and out of consciousness by now .....
Not as big in the Stargate Fandom these days, alas. Missed most of the end of Season 7 because the place where I was living could not pick up Channel 7 on the TV. I still like sitting and watching all of the factions bicker though. The Shippers have been the most amusing.
Apart from that - now living with my brother Monotone Bob, joined a gym, have a job pinning fruit flies (hey - at $22/hour, I would eat dirt!), having burping competitions with my grandma, and have been getting far too drunk far too often.
You're all out in the big world being uni students - gosh, it makes me proud of you all !!!
I'm still in Tamworth. I'm still a lawyer. I'm getting older. My son is now taller than me and isn't far off six foot. My daughter is almost as tall as me and she's only 11 ........ I know, I know, I should have stuck to my resolution to not feed them anymore but call me a softie ... I couldn't stand the whimpering and the pathetic attempts to suck the varnish off the legs of the dining table .... besides the drool left marks all over the floor. Dammit.
Poor old Corza. All these years, I tried my best to turn you all off lawyers and there he goes. Doing law. Who'd have thought it?
gday deb, nice to hear from you. It's ascifi's 5 year anniversary this year, where did that time go eh?
oweek does depend on what uni you go to, the other 2 SA uni's pretty much do jack for oweek. 'Adelaide uni' has concerts, beer, shows, cheap beer, dances, free beer, parades etc all week long.... its a good relaxing way to ease back into uni
