The Gift/The Riddle/ The Crow - Alison Croggon

The only one I've read is The Gift. I thought it was a good read.

Nope, not yet. If I happen to see the other books on one of my book buying times I might pick them up. I'm sure I'll read them eventually.

hey, i've read all three that are out, and i think the first two are excellent, although the third one was a disappointment, because i wanted it to be the end or Maerad's story and it *wasn't*. grrrrr. quote]

the 2nd and 3rd books (the riddle and the crow) were originally going to be one book, so it would be a trilogy rather than a series, but the book would have been ridiculously long, so Alison Croggon had to split it into 2 and made it more-or-less one about Maerad and the other about Cai (which, apparently, according to Alison herself, is pronounced the same as the name Kay, but I keep pronouncing it like the start of the word Cairo I'd got my pronunciation into my head before I found out about the REAL way of saying it hehe)

It seems ive been gypped in terms of geography. As far as i know only the first two are released in the US, where i live, both of which ive read and enjoyed. It leaves me somewhat annoyed that i have to wait twice as long to finish the story hopefully i wont be disappointed when the final installments finally get around to me.
