This is a tough one, I like SB, but given what we know I have to go with Bronn

Strong Belwas fought a guy who was dressed up like a member of Poison.

Pffft.

Bronn to the hizzle.

I'm for Bronn!

Strong Belwas has the bad habit to let his enemies cut
him once. I think that is all Bronn needs to finish him.

I don't know... how many scars does Bronn have? Strong Belwas has obviously survived many battles against many warriors. I'm going to take his side.

Belwas has that whole cut things tis true. But he's so arrogant when it comes to fighting (and justifiably so) that against a calculating opponent like Bronn thats going to count against him.

You know against a "better", less cunning swordsman I would give Belwas the nod....but not against Bronn. The guy thinks too much for Belwas' schtick to play out like he likes.

That being said, who wants liver and onions?

May I suggest a small summary of each character when they are paired, to refresh our memory? I knew both Jaime and Mance right off... but it's been a while and I've read a lot of other books, and couldn't remember these guys immediatelly.

A bit hard for me to admit actually. ;)

I like Brom, he's a good solid fighter and is very smart in how he approaches battle.

However, Strong Belwas is a machine. His sole function is to destroy people in battle and he has had training that Bron is not used to (due to his arena history). I believe that Strong Belwas would have the adantage in this fight both pysically and mentally in that he will have fought many knights while Brom likely has faught very few of Belwas' style.

Bronn is nothing short of a killer. The men you bet on in these bouts are always, always those that do not mess about. Belwas is great, but he would not last against Bronn. The whole point of Bronn is that he is everything a knight is not, and prepared to think on another level when it comes to fighting - he would figure out Belwas weakness and exploit it, just as I believe he would have taken down Gregor Clegane (and there are not exactly many people in the whole series you would give a chance to against Gregor, one on one! I wouldn't give a fig for Briennes chances of beating him, or Balon, or Arys)

he is a killer yes, but i still do not see him win from Gregor.
The Viper was winning thx to his spear, and that is a weapon i do not see bronn using at least not expertly

Summery of the two.

Strong Belwas: He and Barristan the Bold first met Dany when she was given the box with a scorpion in it. He is a Pit fighter. Been a gladiator for most of his life. He lets each person he fights cut him accross the stomach or chest before he kills them, so that he knows how many he has killed. He fought a killed a champion of some city that Dany sacked.

Bronn: He is Tyrion's sellsword. He was in the inn when Catylen had Tyrion arrested. He was one of the few who surrived the trip though the mountians to get Cat and Tyrion to the Erie. There he was Tyrion's champion and fought and killed a knight.

Both are undoubtably great fighters.

Feel free to add more that I left out.
