My only argument really in favor of Belwas, is that Bronn now has something to lose. Before he was a sellsword trying to survive day by day. Now he is a lod with land, a castle, and some booty. That is why he chickened out of the fight with Gregor. A book before, and bronn would have gone up against the Mountain in a heartbeat for the security and fame it would have brought him.
Don't get me wrong even now I would spit on his boots in a bar, but I gotta go with Belwas.
