There are so many things to think about. I usually omit the comma before the last term in a list, but not always. Stems from the fact that I learned English in the UK as a teenager, but at some point, since well over half of my exposure to the language is American, to switch to American spelling, vocabulary(,) and style. That said, as a professional free-lance translator, I'll go by the wishes of my clients and need to know both.
