Wheel Of Time

I wouldn't read the prologue first either, but it is a good idea to read the rest of the series. Of course, I might be biased...

The series really picks up again with book 11. That's when the action starts after dropping off somewhat with Crossroads of Twilight. It's a good book, and sets the rest of the series to play out. Let's see how it ends!

I started reading the Wheel of Time in 1993 thinking it was a 5 book saga - yeah stop laughing you! ;)

When I first read "The Wheel of Time goes on and on" I didnt realise how prophetic it was. I kind of stopped at book 8 vowing to not start reading again until I knew the last one had been written and published - I'm guessing thats now yet then?

The most recent book, book 11, was published on October 11th last year :) I only started reading them four years ago (my, was it that long already?) I don't think the last book will be published for a while - currently I think it will be the middle of next year from what I can gather. I'll have to check on the current expected release date.

Thank you, so what's the name of the next book after the prequel one ?

Didn't look like anyone answered. It's called Eye of The World. You should judge for yourself if you like them. It's a long ride if you are looking for a long reading commitment then you probably will like it. I have really enjoyed them over the years but I understand why some don't like it. Around books 6 on it may lose some focus but this is the guy that got me hooked on Fantasy. I have found better writers since him but I always enjoy his work.

Knife of Dreams comes out on paperback this month. My list of books to read got so long it's taking me a year to get to it. It's funny because I started reading other sereis to fill the void when I got caught up on WOT.
