The one book would be "The Lord Of The Ring" and the one serie would be "The dark tower" by Stephen King.
That's precisely the type of questions which make me love staying at home, with ALL my books.

Well the book I would hope to have is the SAS pocket survival book. I have a copy and it's entertaining in it's own way - I'm pretty sure there's a section on making rafts out just about anything; not to mention how to tell what's poisonous; and it's got a few recipes for insects.
