If I remember correctly mummer can also mean false (because mummer's traditionally wear masks and costumes of some sort.) To call someone a mummer's something or other would be to mock them, as if to say they are pretending, or playing at being the real thing. A mummer knight might be a false knight, the mummer's dragon might mean that someone is pretending to be part of Dany's line or something similar.

Or if Melisandre wakens her 'stone dragon', it could be some sort of strange dragon like creature, but not truly alive. A shadow creature dragon, maybe?
I never put much faith in Mel's stone dragon theory, because I don't believe there's anything inherently different about royal blood (Maybe for the Targs, I suppose), but its another wild theory to add to the pile.

I always thought the Mummers Dragon might be a Descendant of a great *******. Then again perhaps it just have to do with the Dunk and Egg stories and the Mummers Dragon is a descendant of that girl Panselle/Tanselle(?)
