Gah Delvo, and I do mean Gah! (thats the sound someone makes when they have to rethink a whole bunch of crap) That would mean the humans as we know em are the original Humulons, probably created by the Final Five (which is misleading because they more apropriately named the First Five) in their image with the Cylons as some sort of peace keeping force. Then something happened, the cylons threw off the yoke of the 5 and attacked the humans. The maelstrom is then some sort of portal towards earth. Maybe not that safe so not often used. Kara dies in its event horizon, is ressurected on the other side on earth....somehow gets a viper (weak plot point there) and makes it back in time to see Lee.....

Or its one of the before or after Karas (as in all this has happened before) who is allowed to do this thing while she sits in at the precipice of death at the maelstrom in another time....


So confused...Feeling faint....Head is spinning....must drink more whiskey.....

"Just let me go. They're waiting for me." Were her last words. I just replayed the explosion frame by frame. There's no doubt about it. Her ship caught fire and exploded, peices flying everywhere. I think I even saw her face in one of the frames. You can see the hatch still in one peice and it looks like a face just to the left of it. Also didn't see anything that look like ejecting. Could see the light in her helmet right up until the end. Whatever happened after, she definitely blew up.

Delvo and Aegon, you both have marvelously twisty minds! What fun, if you turn out to be right!

Anyway, I agree that the Final Five probably are unique, in the sense of there being only one of each of them in existence, rather than being multiple copies like the other Cylons. And I like the idea that they are more human in some way than the other Cylons.

I just wanted to post a thank you to ScottSF for the play by play about Starbuck's grand exit, I had only seen that episode first run and was going by memory. Has anyone heard anything more on the BSG dvd movie that is supposed to appease us until January?
