who are some big name thriller writers.

The really neat thing about Name of the Rose is the trouble Eco went into to get everything right including the times.

He actually did the actions that his characters perform in the book. Not the murders. :rolleyes: All the walking from place to place and the times and schedules of a monastery. It's all correct.

And of course they made it into a movie with Sean Connery :p
 
Who havent seen that movie but me :p


I just finished my second book of Elmore Leonard ,Stick from 1983. EL is a great dialouge writer, one of the best i have read. Only PKD,Richard Stark have impressed me with their dialogues as much.

Anyone else who read or have read much of EL ?
