My Pet Crackpot Theorey HR=TOS

In response to the death of Davos the Onion Knight, he is supposed to be dead, but I am certain that is a total misconception. Less likely that it's a lie to Cersei, however it seems more likely that Stannis cut someone else's fingers short to act as a decoy.

Honestly, I have to agree with AandK on the issue of Howland Reed. The biggest part of his story line when he does appear will be his contributions to Meera. Jojen is probably going to fade into the darkness, become the new "Spider", or die. I'm hoping for the last one.

Reading the other thread might have changed my mind just a little. Maybe Howland will become important for a time- possibly the young Reeds will bring Bran back to him and he'll teach him green magic. <shrug> Frankly, I still don't think his part will be too too big- I do like the idea that his part in the books will parallel his part in Meera's story (props Boaz) - he'll come, do something, and then disappear.
On a completely other topic, I'm pretty sure that Davos was one of those characters that GRRM loved, and wasn't going to kill. Or was that just speculation? Now I'm getting the facts confused with the guesswork (albeit educated) that I've read here. I do think Davos' chapters sure would get mighty interesting if suddenly he spotted a wildling woman walking with a young Stark and a direwolf in White Harbor. That would be quite fantastic to me.

I agree with Boaz, but all this crannogman contempt reminds me of Freys in the Godswood. (hehehehe)

Howland yet matters...ToS? well therefore the term crackpot, but he WILL be back.

Half of Westeros is the North, and that is the half that saved Westeros pre wall, and will save it again.....except maybe the Dreadfort. I will maintain in full obstinance, that while the fight for the throne is beyond entertaining, it is merely a distraction from the fight against Winter.

Regarding Osha and Bran, why Davos and perhaps not Asha... who is rumored to be drifting about the north?

Here's my awesome, MIND-BLOWING new theory: Jojen IS Howland!!

Doesn't Jojen seem a little too wise for a teenager? Doesn't he seem to know a little too much?

Even if it isn't true, it should be. Because I think it would be neat.

(deep breath.....)

Yoss: That was mind-blowing indeed as well as interesting for a total for 0.5 seconds. Never will happen my friend.
