if only six words i get
to express myself or better yet
to tell a tale of regret
at mapping out a Mandelbrot set

Waiting for her to come home

I stare back. Calm. Ready. Unafraid.
Regrets are for the weaker sort.

I always survived. Until now... I --

Hey look,I'm the invisible man!
Open your eyes. cant you see?
See what you've done to me?
Once the object of your desire
Now discarded , forgotten , cast from sight
Scarred and blinded by love's fire.

Come in Family, Pick your rooms.

Sleep tight, Don't let anything bite.

Hinges squeak, floorboards bend, Undisturbed disturbed.

Open the curtains. It's day break
And the skirting in the hall
Has mouse shaped windows and doors
Best tread lightly not to wake
Until we give the breakfast call
Then we'll hear their tiny claws

Nightmare or Daydream, Sleep or Wake.

Two sides of same unfortunate coin.

OK, family, it's morning, ready, set,

Run, Scream, Stumble, Get Up, RUN!!
