However, Gathis is not the same as a goblin and from a different world. But as we know next to nothing about Gathis' race, we can safely as that he is a goblin!

I guess Gathis is immortal like Marcos ( or at least they have lived for countless centuries and are far from death)
But how is the sorcerer's minion (Gathis) immortal? was it ever explained? Was that a gift from Marcos?

I believe Gathis was from another world and just lived to a longer age than most midkemians. I think the last time he was mentioned was when he initiated Pug to become the number one follower of Sarig after gathis believed Macros to be no more as he couldn't sense him any more.
