Wrath of a Mad God

Erik was dieing when Nakor prolonged his life, I don't think he made him younger.

And why Magnus? Pug really hasn't been much of a focus in a series since Magician.

Wasn't it said that Magnus was likely to reach a similar magical level to Pug?

Magnus was said to gain at least Pug's power so...

Wasn't Magnus on the last one? If so, he could be there to attract new readers as Magnus is a more powerful name than...Pug

Sorry about the double post, but i've found evidence to show that Pug isn't going to die in the third Riftwar

What is going to happen with Pug

Pug will always "be around," even if he's not the central character in a narrative.

He will be a major figure in the 5th Riftwar, assuming I stay in business long enough to write the darn thing.

Never thought Pug would die.

What's this stay in business, business?

Publishers seem loath to publish his books. That's why the third Darkwar book is being released months after it should be

I'm not sure, I haven't found any definite information. It could be anything

You know, I get the feeling it could be R.E.F himself. To me he comes across in a way that I just don't like. Then he has his Sierra issues and publishers not wanting to publish despite being a best selling author.

Jaire, although I have absolutely no objective data to base it on, I have the same opinion. I don't know what it is about him, but even tho he's written some of my favorite fantasy, I'm not sure I'd enjoy meeting him in person. He just comes across to my vibes as having a bad attitude.

Yes I have zero reason to base it on as well. It's just how he comes across to me.
I also don't like his woman talk either, it is one thing that jumped out at me once.

Yeah just seeing everyone thinking about who will die, not that it will happen in Wrath Of A Mad God but we know that Caleb will die in the near future. When he was in Lims-Kragma's hall, the priests asked Magnus 'when' it was Caleb's time and Magnus replied 'When the World is Safe'.

Also I'm guessing Caleb will play a large role soon to come as we see him complaining to Pug about not being much help.

The other cover of Wrath Of A Mad God (the green one) has a serpent on it so I'm guessing that the Pantathians have something to do with all this?

Good point about the Pantathians, I also think they'll come back into it. Maybe on the good side this time perhaps...maybe not

...or maybe they're behind everything ;)
Don't think they'll be good though. Since when has that ever happened.

They're always behind stuff - the Sauur, the Demons and all that stuff hehe

Nope not as yet....

But without giving anyone a heart attack, I certainly wouldn't shed any tears if Miranda died. Arutha, Jimmy and Nakor - definitly but Miranda, nope maye even a sigh of relief.

Woody, are you feeling ok? Arutha and Jimmy are already dead :D

Oh wait, I'm getting this wrong. I agree with you that if Miranda died, I won't be shedding any tears either. I find her a most irritable character! :p

Teehee!!!!

But, yeah, She's pretty much everything I hate in people, rolled into one person....

I really, really, really hope Nakor doesn't die though........
