A good price for Matter

Waterstones in Manchester have got about a bazillion copies scattered around the store. Excellent bargain Now I just need to find time to read it!

I've heard that Matter starts a bit more fantasy but then in the second half goes more into space. i'm yet to pick up a copy yet, i can either wait 3 weeks and get it for about £2/3 (although that aint a definate) or get it now for £9.50....
and quite humourously today is actually the day it was meant to come out... its been in Waterstones since friday lol

I'm hoping this book features the usual amount of Minds and Drones, they are my favourite charaters, always hilarious.

yh i would agree, although i never stray far from sci-fi, Iain m Banks book are rihgt up there with the rest. I love alternate Universes wherby the Author includes one race throughout!
