do you think it's possible or likely GRRM will do a series prequel?

I really liked Knights of the Old Republic - linear as it was it was a good game. The sequel also had some fantastic ideas such as the Crone character who was, in a world setting oft filled with pure good VS evil a very refreshing character. Sadly the lack of a budget near the end really shows and spoils and otherwise grand adventure.

I'd like to see a prequel showing the truth of the Long Night and the Age of Heroes. That would be cool!

I think this would be the best possible choice for a sequel. Robert's rebellion was too fresh in all the character's minds and wouldn't provide too much new insight, at least in my opinion. It would probably make a good book, but if we want another Epic series set in westeros before the events of aSoIaF, I think we need to look to the long night and the age of heroes.

It might also cover the beginings of the legendary Stark/ Bolton feud!!

Another possible short series could be when the Targaryens leave Valyria for Dragonstone, and then the Doom itself, along with the immediate after affects. Seeing more dragons, and dragonriders, along with the Valyrian sorcerers would be awesome!
