Ah, thank you for the correction. My failing memory again, I see. I should have pulled out my copy and checked to be sure....

So... a rephrasing: the original illustrations for Pulptime are not included, but there are a set of illustrations by Eckhardt which are nonetheless (imo) perfectly suited to the tale.

So... a rephrasing: the original illustrations for Pulptime are not included, but there are a set of illustrations by Eckhardt which are nonetheless (imo) perfectly suited to the tale.

They most certainly are -- the only illustration I really miss is Fabian's depiction of Lovecraft and Holmes saying farewell to each other (it is especially amusing in the light of what Holmes reveals at their parting. Nudge, nudge... ).
