He placed the barrel into his mouth. This would be the best for everyo...

And, even as the light became heat became non-thought became nothing, even as what he held in his hand evaporated into wisps of tenuous matter like all around it, in that one brief instant he returned to his world the feel, the smell, the dream of frost....

and that, my dears, is how one became larger than the other.

"But coming upon the Common, the winds still break about him, and the heavens still throw garbage."

It still doesn't look like a cat.

Standing amidst the wreck and carnage of the battle, Telagore sheathed his magic sword and kicked the severed head of the dragon to one side. With one powerful flick of his hugely enthewed arms, he tore away Princess Astrid's bonds and grabbed her tenderly as she swooned to the floor.

"Really pissed," he agreed and they stood and they walked down the street together.

"You know, there's just one thing I still don't understand ...." she was saying as the last dying rays of sun dwindled and died over the mountainous horizon.

A smile crept across his mouth. "Ahh that was fun," he said while dusting off his greatcoat and straightening his hat. "Now if you'll kindly excuse me - I have my execution to attend."
