I don't know very much about Willas, so I guess I can feel free to project good qualities onto him!
Isn't he considered a good smart person, and a capable administrator (that would be executive experience?). I don't think anyone but the Martell's have a beef with him. He is conciliatory. He has illustrious and even martial siblings and a very wise grandmother who could help navigate the game of thrones. (with the help of some tears of lys)
Maybe he is too nice to survive. But he may have a farmer's long term point of view, practicality and patience, right?
Like Cincinnatus, I don't think he wants the job. That may make him a better candidate. A few weeks wouldn't sort out the mess in Westeros, so I would have to draft him for longer than C. Then he could either father an heir with one of the available women, stay or abdicate. He can choose generals, and small councellors. I would hope that he has good judgement. If he is really clever he could set up a constitutional monarchy or a republic.
This post is about picking someone, god like, to crown them. So, he seems to be one of the good guys, who actually can run things. I don't think he sounds either crazy, violent or egotistical like some of the most recent bad kings, and many of the other characters. I give you, King Willas!
