Predictions for the Lannisters

I want to know what people think will happen to all the Lannisters in the next few books.

I think Cersei must die, I hope Jaime finds some sort of peace, I think Tyrion will become Hand of the King, where the King is Jon, I have no idea what will happen to Tommen and Myrcella.

Thoughts, people! Feel free to talk about Kevan and Lancel as well, and Lannisport and surroundings.

They'll all kill each other off, and Dany will return from exile as Queen of a land without a single living thing. Then she'll die.

Wow, that must be the millionth time I've heard Ace whinge about characters dying in ASOIAF. Seriously, it's really tedious. No-one's making you read these posts or the books.

I was reading a Robin Hobb book the other day and I was amazed at the surprising twist when one of the characters almost died but then didn't.

My prediction:

I imagine Cersei actually will die, she's in far too a precarious position to survive. Jaime may die supporting Tommen's reign but I could forsee a situation where he bends the knee to...whoever comes to take King's Landing from them, possibly Dany and Tyrion (Dany's hand, easy prediction) pleads for his life. Tommen will remain a relatively simple kid for maybe the rest of the story, if and when he is deposed he may die as a salutory example. Myrcella will be used by the Martell's as a bartering chip, perhaps given to Dany as a sign of good faith and their stand against the Lannisters.

Well, who's really left?

Cersei, maybe. I'll be really interested to see how her story works out, especially with Frankenstien in the basement, and what's going to go on between her Marg, and the sparrows. Besides, Cersei has the political acumen of Cat. Meaning not much.

We have Jaime, but unlike what I think will happen with Jon, his vows, and my vision of his future (meaning that out of neccesity I think Jon is going to have to leave his black cloak behind), I don't see Jaime going back on his. Jaime is changing, and the charges of him not having any honor are behind that change, he will be a white cloak for the rest of his life.

Lancel? No thankee sai.

Ser Kevan? Don't see it.

Tyrion? No real claim, and after being a paterslayer he doesn't have any future as a Lannister persay.

I honestly think that the Lannisters are as broken as the Starks at this point.

Cersei probably will die, but even with the prophecy I can't see Tommen and Myrcella dying. I think they'll probably be taken into hiding. Maybe their father will even raise them. Tyrion will probably die.

Tommen and Myrcella are dropping out of the picture.

Without a solid base of might, no claim to the throne matters.

Scenario #88

Jaime(after surviving some sort of facial disfigurement) and Brienne settle down in Tarth and have a brood of little Tarley-Lannisters, who excell in PD class.

Cersei mostly gives up her evil ways, marries Lancel and they alternate between babysitting for Brienne and Tysha.

Tryion finds Tysha and they rule over Casterly Rock, as stewards for Tommen who enjoys raising puppies, playing with little dwarfs, and reading Targ lit.

Myrcella weds Wyllis, and they develop a hugely popular and profitable hard apple cider product called Apple Quaff.

Kevan uses some of his wealth to be an angel financier, and is a venture capitalist for Arya and Gendry's chain of Assassin Supply Shoppes.

The Lannisters broken?
Tywin is dead, Cersei in prison, Tyrion off to dany, Lancel gone nutters and joined the holy army. Jaime is still going strong, with an army at his back and call, but is fate is dubious indeed.

However:
There is also still Daven Lannister, warden of the west.
But especially Kevan seems to be recovering, think he will take over as Regent and Hand of the King, besides Lancel he has another son who is still fine, and then there is mention of several relatives on the Rock and Lannisport.

I think the Lannisters will pull through in the end, just not Tywin's branch of the family.

The Lannisters will pull through, just not the offspring of the sire of the branch of the family that more or less made them THE Lannisters?

Alright.

I'm curious how they're going to get Tarly blood involved? :p

i dont know about other lannisters but i am betting huge for cerisi is going to stay till end and then die.

Oops!

Well, Quorin. Jaime has been gelded by Stoneheart. So he and Brienne made an arrangement with Sam to look after their "library"!:) So much for the kids athletic aspirations, though they could take after their Grandpa Tarly.

Some people wanted a happily ever after ending, right?

Uhm, ewwww. lol.

Tyrion - Hope he makes it to the end and finds a place for himself. I think he will.

Jaime - Same

Cersei -I really, really hope Cersei's downfall is drawn out, painful and humiliating at the end. But as we've seen with the abrupt deaths of Joffrey and Tywin, I doubt I will get this. She will die though.

Lancel - It doesnt seem like he considers himself a part of the Lannister clan anymore. I'm sure others still view him that way, but he seems to have pulled himself out. I have a feeling he will survive.

Kevan - Dead. Will try and pull some crazy Tywin impersonation and fail.

Daven - I see him dying in a large battle.

Sorry Wiggum et al! I may have gotten carried away solving my Tarth/Tarly problem. I blame caffeine, Targ blood and Qhorin!:)

I think it's possible that Jaime will take a mortal wound saving Brienne, in a battle to restore Dany, and die in Brienne's arms.

cercei- dr frankenstien will bring gregor back as something more evil she will command a army maybe on the side of the others or whatever god they serve

sandor- brought back epic battle with gregor finallly getting to rip that bastards heart out .. also seems they play on his fear of fire a lot to me and talk of mel controlling stannis long shot but maybe fire is evil ... not all but most fire does comsume after all

jamie - will kill cercei saving jon clearing his name and giving him a place of honour

the imp - due to his fondness of dragons i believe he will be eaten by one while trying to dance j/k i have no ideas about him but i like him and hope he hasnt lost faith in humanity
