Signed books

I have around 200 signed books. I worked at a large chain store for quite a few years in Boston and lots of authors came through. I was able to get signed copies from other stores around the US when they had signings as well. Some of the more interesting are the first 3 Potter books that JK Rowling signed for me on her last US book tour. A Slan first edition signed from Van Vogt to Theodore Sturgeon. A first edition Lest Darkness Fall inscribed to Forry Ackerman. I also have a few sets of series books signed such as The Wheel of Time.A Signed, slipcased, limited set of the Chanur books by CJ Cherryh. My treasure is the first edition of The Stand that Stephen King signed for me at a recent Red Sox game.

I have a signed and dedicated copy of Anne McCaffrey's A Gift of Dragons from my time as a moderator (under another name) at her official website, now sadly defunct.

A few years ago on a camping holiday the weather was realy bad,so i went to a charity shop to grab a book. i found one on scientology and ufo cults, looked at the bumff on the back and bought it. later on i looked inside and it appers to be a signed copy (Dr. Chris Evens?).
It in a storage box at the moment but its cults of unreason or something like that. I paid 50p for it, so i put an extra couple of quid in the next charity tin i came across.

as much as id prefer them to be signed, i'd have to get them signed personally with me witnessing it.
