On the subject of Tomas, does anyone else think that Fiest has missed the boat in developing this character, in rift war he was part Valheru, prone to acts of extreme violence and a bit mad, then he gets better and acts like some sort of chilled out elf, damn it all, i want the crazy tomas back!!!

I strongly second that. A character with the constant inner conflict (good, evil, madnees all that stuff) would have made a very interesting character and some very interesting stories.

Not only does he come across as a chilled out elf, but when he does talk, it seems (to me, at least) that he has to remind everyone in some way, shape or form of how powerful he is. Never was big on conceited characters, and Tomas is one that irks me of late (Yes Nixie, I know I have to read the last two still).

I guess they can't all have been Nakor....

I have seen it in the shops already, so it is out here in Oz at least.

Yep, saw it in the city (Melbourne, OZ) over the weekend, so definitely must be out in other places seeing as he's US based and a very popular author.

Well apparently Ray decided to release RaDL march 1st in austrialia, while we in the rest of the world must wait till the 31st!
