Diamond Dogs & Turquoise Nights are two novelettes (novellas? Never could get it straight) while Galactic North is several short stories.

By the simplest definition, novellas are the longer ones and DD&TN is a pair of novellas. GN is listed as having five novellas amongst its eight stories but DD & TN were each published separately in book form before being collected, while the stuff in GN wasn't. At least, I guess that had something to do with why those were collected separately.
