Am i correct in saying if you previously have read Hobb's books before Soldiers Son, then this trilogy might disappoint? So it would be good idea to start with this trilogy before reading about the Farseer etc. then disappointment might be averted? I just noticed the trend and would like to clarify if it would work this way since I havent read any of her books yet.
Well first off...READ HOBB!! I love Hobbs books and I could never tell you to read these first. I would start with the Farseer. By the time you get through the others, you will enjoy the Soldier Son books but not as much as the others IMO. It was not a bad series on a whole.
I havent got around to the soldier son tirlogy yet but, my wife badgered me to read the Farseer trilogy and I love all those books now. I would read all the assasins apprentice trilogy first. For me a proven good read.
