Advice on Best Fantasy Books

Haahah well I actually really like the TV series. I mean I am constantly going like "Come onnn that could never happen!!" or "Thats NOTHING like the book" lol but its still really enjoyable. Tabrett Bethel (who plays Cara) is absolutely amazing!!!! Cannot praise her enough, she does an absolutely amazing job and makes Cara even more fun than in the books. Her acting is great (cannot say the same of the other actors always lol) and I practically watch the show just for her at this point. They make Kahlan too subservient to Richard, and make Richard too self-righteous (qualities they possess in the books but not as strongly). But its definitely worth watching as long as you can laugh at it and not expect it to be exactly like the books. Some of the special effects are really, really funny (ie. Kahlan gets carried away by Gars in episode like 12 or 13 of the second season).

Hi, I'm brand new here!

My suggestions would be:

"Thief With No Shadow" and "The Laurentine Spy" by Emily Gee
both of these are pretty romantic and the fantasy isn't complex at all, plus you'll definitely get attached to the characters

"Living With Ghosts" by Kari Sperring
this one's a little more complex, but I've never been so attached to the characters in a book before and the romance is really beautiful

Quick plug for Carol Berg.

I'm not usually someone who goes looking for romance in the fantasy I read, but she's a favorite author of mine. I'd been reading her for quite a while before I looked back at her work and realized "Hey, she was snuck romances in there, and I... didn't hate it." ;)
