re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- August & September

Yes, actually! Strange things are happening. I even understood Boneman's on a second read!

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- August & September

Boneman: Shouldn't that be "call me in the morning if I'm not better..."?

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- August & September

Definitely gotta be something wrong with me because the 'Gloria in the van' thing is still making me laugh now.

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- August & September

Shouldn't you be chuckling...?

;):)

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- August & September

As in chuckling? Yes. Probably. I'm not pun-minded. :(

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- August & September

Probably!! What's wrong with you? Apart from being addicted to the chrons, that is...

Oi! Just because I'm in denial doesn't mean I'm addicted! Checking Chrons the first and last thing I do every day (and as many times as possible in between) doesn't mean I'm addic... oh.

I had to groan when I thought of poor Challah Rajni trying to make sense of this thread without the benefit of "time" interlaced stories. Add that to the quirky sense of humor -- Ursa, I'm looking at you here -- I think anyone who is able to make sense of this thread from the beginning can look down at Einstein and scoff about the fame that came to a mere middling intellect.:D

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- August & September

Or they can take this thread at face value and simply have a good time with it over cookies and milk.....

I wonder what next month is going to bring? *Gets a contemplating look on his face and shudders*

On second thought, the less I know about the future the better......

Which only goes to prove that Einstein had an anthropomorphic problem.:p

Not only Einstein...

heh, heh

... as I've heard that Curiosity killed Shrödinger's cat. (Okay, someone else said it only had 8½ lives left. ;))

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- August & September

surely it had an undetermined number of lives left?

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- August & September

Don't know what people are worried about in this thread. Sure, it goes off topic from time to time, but it's essentially rational, and most of the posts are more or less answers to other posts, either in the challenges themselves or within the last twenty posts in the thread itself (with the density of posting, answers can get detached from their questions, if not actively quoted).

But we've done worse.
