To clarify we do have a Reviews section but Yes those are the ones going in the SFF Chrons reviews section located at the front end of the forum.

I quite liked the review you did on City and the City Ian.....:)

Not an easy book to review without giving too much way... But thanks: glad you liked it.

ian - I am sure you are fair and trustworthy, it beats reading reviews from Harriet Klausner who apparently has read so many books (well if I actually did read them cause apparently she is a fraud).

I just read that review because it was on the main site. Didnt know it was you i must say i liked it and it was close to what i felt after reading that book. I wasnt impressed by the crime side, character invistagions that was clumsy if you know your crime fiction.

It was a quality, original SF book though. Those cities. I saw the eastern, western thing too. But didnt not make the connection you made about certain two countries.

I'm trying to put up at least one book review a month, but it might a slip a bit at time...

Ian, it would be good if you could update the first (top) entry with these updates, as soon the middle updates will get lost!

Unfortunately, the forum doesn't allow you to edit old posts. Not unless you're an admin, I think, which I'm not.

You don't actually have to be admin; any old mod can do it if asked nicely (a major advantage, as admin are seriously overworked).

I can always take them away if you prefer.

My review of Terminal World by Alastair Reynolds is now up in the SFF Chrons reviews section here.

Fresh new book review up in the reviews section: Music for Another World, edited by Mark Harding. See here.

Still to come: Urbis Morpheos, Stephen Palmer, and Cinco de Mayo, Michael Martineck.

I'm happy to take requests, providing the books are still in print.
