All I want is Cersei dead. I've always wanted Cersei dead.

However, I believe Jaime and Cersei will die together, or at least each within a very short time span from the other. (OK I actually believe Jaime is the valonqar and will kill her, then either kill himself or be slain by a guard or someone similar.) So, even though things ain't looking good for Cersei right now, she can't die till her children are all dead, so I reckon she and Jaime are safe for a book or two yet.

If Jaime dies in ADwD, I will be utterly devastated and will throw my book out the window Bran-Stark-style.

I'm requesting that in the interest of non-spoliers, the word "major" be taken out of the thread title, as just having that word there gives a new reader information that they shouldn't have, and could result in someone guessingthat someone, say Ned, would die rather than get sent to the Wall. In addition, the title really needs SPILERS added to the end of it, even though it should be obvious.
