Lord Dunsany (The King of Elfland's Daughter)

Changed thread title as requested by Moontravler. I'll see about possibility of merge later.

I may refer to you by many names Moontravler but never a lowly member...;)

So, who is this Dunsany fellow anyway?..anyone?..Looks about innocently..:p

On film adaptations, there is of course Dean Spanley starring Peter O'Toole as mentioned earlier in this thread.

Some of his short stories were adapted to film in the 1970s but I've never seen those particular ones.

Cheers.

Sorry that I didn't search for it before starting this thread, Connavar, I was actually just going to ask a quick quick question regarding this specific book and anthology, and didn't realise it would turn into a full-blown Dunsany discussion. I wouldn't mind whichever way. :)

Nothing to be sorry about since the title of topic was changed to add Lord Dunsany, im glad to see another topic named after him and him getting talked about so much here :)

I'm happy if everyone else is happy. Thanks, guys!

What would we do without you, Gollum? Our lives would be sad and empty, indeed... :p

How about the idea of placing a link to your other thread, in the meantime, Connovar? :)

Just came across this picture -- Dunsany standing on the right -- I didn't remember having seen it before, so I thought I'd share it. You have to scroll way down at the link to get to it. Also this:

I suspect my Christmas would have been a particularly merry one if someone had given me that at the time....:)

Thanks for the post update.
