"HBO will present – for the first time – a 15-minute sneak peek of the first episode of a new series when GAME OF THRONES EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW debuts SUNDAY, APRIL 3 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Following this one-time-only play, GAME OF THRONES EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW will be available immediately on hbo.com and HBO Go, and will be available on HBO On Demand beginning Monday, April 8."

I may be in the minority, but I've got to say I've seen enough of it until I actually see it.

The last teaser bordered on overexposure for me, I'll avoid the sneak peek.

Speaking for the majority without an ounce of self-control, I say, "Gimme more!"

I think that I'm going to waiti for the `7th even though I seem to view impulse control in the same way that Boaz does.

Knowing that ADWD is wairting at the end of the tunnel will make wiaitng for the HBO show easy.

As I'll be waiting for the DVDs to see the complete show, a fifteen-minute preview will be very welcome. (And it isn't as if any of us here are going to be surprised by seeing bits of the plot a tad early.)

I watched it. I hope the sense of anticipation hasn't given me false expectations because I was kinda underwhelmed....

Just watched the preview. Loved the opening scene and I think they might just have got it right with the Wall and the Night's Watch. At the same time I was not sure about the opening scene in Winterfell. Minor points, but the guy playing Theon, just does not look the part and both Robb and Jon look older than they should be. Yet, the interaction between Robb, Jon and Bran was interesting and are helpful signs that the show will match the depth of the story.

Sean Bean uttering 'Winter is Coming' to Cat sent shivers up my spine. Only thing is that I do not have Sky and will either have to wait for the boxed set or watch it piecemeal on Youtube.

I know what you mean, but a) try not to allow your expectations to be high in the first place and b) it'll flow better with credits and intro music.

I presume. :)

I'm not watching the 15 min trailer. I have Sky and the airing of the first episode is so close, so I'm going to wait and watch it in full on the 18th. I've watched all the other preview trailers and character profiles, but I feel 15 mins of an episode is just too much and will spoil my sense of anticipation.

Actor I want to see more of: Peter Dinklage (I think he will own Tyrion)
Actor I'm most dubious about: Emilia Clarke (I hope she will surprise me)

SPOILERS AHEAD (don't read if you haven't already read the first book)

I'm wondering if we will see Bran take his "trip" in the first episode. I think that would be quite a good ending, guaranteed to get folks watching again the following week.

Mesanna (I'll try it in white although it wouldn't make sense if you haven't read them), they had originally stated that the first episode would start with The Others and end with the line "The things I do for love.". Which might have changed since, but if that's still the idea it should answer your question.

I have resisted so far and will until April 17th.

My subscription to HBO Canada was just activated two days ago. I am counting down the days...

Thanks Wiggum, that's exactly what I wanted to know! I thought that would make a great ending for the first episode and really get people talking about the show.

Just over a week to go!

I was really surprised at how well most of characters fit what I'd imagined they'd look like. The only character that I thought was way off was Catelyn. Wow, she's a lot less attractive (to put it nicely) and a lot older than I pictured her.

I think a lot of people ehcoed your sentiment when the casting change was made. Maybe they felt they needed someone a bit older to make it more believeable that she could be mother to children that were older than they were in the books.

SPOILER ALERT

Atfer a certain nuptual event, her looks won't matter in the least

Apart from Jaime not being "golden" enough (why couldn't they just give him some highlights!!), most of the characters are very well cast. I agree with viZion about Catelyn. She is nowhere near as attractive as I imagined Catelyn being, despite her age and giving birth to five children. Arya is bang on and as cute as a button too!

Having watched the preview I was mildly disappointed.

SPOILER

Why change the prologue so much, it was perfect to begin with?

I've finally come around to watching the preview. What I would have given to be in a production like that.

SPOILER

Still think it's a spoiler to cast the actor who played Boromir as Stark...
