Snuff

There's a great interview with Sir Terry up on the amazon site now.

I also see that a Kindle version is available. A quandary, that. Instant delivery vs One of the few authors that my kids also enjoy. I'm also, currently, on an extended binge of rereading Pratchett... 8 or 10 discworld novels over the last couple of weeks. Never gets old.

What quandary, then. Guess I better get a hard-copy.

I have to agree that Snuff wasn't Sir's best work, but it was still a great read. I'm just a sucker for Sam Vimes and the Watch.

Interesting to see that 'Snuff' has just won Sir Terry the 13th Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize for Comic Fiction (a rather comic award title in itself!). If anyone's interested, more details are on the BBC website at www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-18254267 . That's two awards he's won in a week - a bit greedy, surely? :)

He deserves some awards, surely:) I agree with everyone else's sentiments. It was a great book that puts most fantasy to shame, but didn't quite reach some of Sir's greater heights.
