Need kick-ass quote for PhD thesis

Firstly, Mesanna and Needle, thanks!

As to Brienne knowing Renly was gay, I'm pretty sure she didn't. I agree that Brienne took to Renly because he didn't treat her like crap like most other guys she'd known, but I think she was just so taken with Renly, regardless of the reasons, and the fact that due to her history in general she seems somewhat sheltered and naive about the ways of things, she wouldn't really have picked up on the subtleties of their relationship. At least I think.

While I am contributing to this thread being way off topic, Brienne is quite (self-admitedly) naive.

I beleive Brienne is the moral compass of the series and her thoughts and quotes are spot on if she was living in a perfect world.

Her and Ned would have gotten along swell. :D

I still think the Hound and Arya were meant for each other.
The hound and Arya have quite and age difference going though.

Still maybe in 10 years or so, when Arya seeks redemption for all her killings, and finds it with the hound. They have a reunion in wich Arya forgives the hound for killing the butcher's boy, and thanks him for saving her life.... Okay, so that's not going to happen :) (at least i hope not)

On the other hand, i do see Tyrion and Sansa ending up together at the very end. He needs someone like sansa to let go over what happened to tysha. Sansa on the other hand is beginning to see that a beautiful exterior isn't always what it is cracked up to be. And more than anybody else (even more than the hound) Tyrion has been good to sansa. The conversations they have fit that bill as well. And he has done so for no real reason actually. Littlefinger for instance has ulterior motives for being good to her, .... . Tyrion so far had little to gain by his actions. for example :In order to get Winterfell, ... he need not be nice to sansa.

Can't remember who said it, but its totally not a weird topic! Well, not with a little context anyways.

"Stick em with the pointy end" is perfect! Cheers guys!
