Hopefully I will have my rereads behind me soon, that I may feast upon Dance, and speculate with the likes of you all as I wipe my mouth with my napkin. I doubt Dance will give me indigestion.

I take it you haven't read any Tolkien.:cool:

Mind you, Tolkien makes them sentient. He also makes them purely malicious, lying evil b*****ds of dragons to boot. Glaurung or Smaug would eat Danaerys' wee beasties, even the size they are in ADWD, for breakfast, or convince them to burn themselves to death while they sat there and chuckled maliciously, sipping their morning coffee (if dragons did such things in Middle Earth).

Though Glaurung would have a tough time catching them, due to his lack of wings.
