I think it was the loyal smith, Mikken because Farlen (I guess his name was) the kennelmaster (?) was coerced to serve Theon because of a girl (or was she his wife?). He had dreamt of Winterfell being underwater and its people drowned...etc.

He better shut his mouth...
 
I'm going to pass to the pro as I've made the mistake of guessing right on here when my copies of the books are several thousand miles away.

Trivia and quotes I can pull off the internet, but references for internal dialogue are lacking.
