Beware that wiki's have been major spam targets for years.
When I first set up my own supporting site years ago, I create an library page with links to main sections, such as general world timeline, short stories, and an encyclopedia.
All the pages were originally hand-coded, but I'm planning to migrate everything into a wordpress installation (without comments enabled) - which means I'll just need to copy/paste everything in, and then set up a replace/plugin to ensure all the names are linked to their target page.
Will take a while, but nowhere near as long as hand-coding 700+ individual pages!!
