The Fourth Reich - the journey…

Okay, last night I saw this and I was FREAKING OUT AND DANCING HERE AND ALL but my connection died and I couldn't say this:

KSVDAFVNAEUBHNAERKVNIRUVN;REVIJRPTVJR;V OMG THANKS A LOT GARY! THIS IS SO AWESOME!
This is so sweet of you and I can't thank you enough though you really didn't have to do anything in return as I only meant to help a friend ^_^

Thank you so much and of course you can make any changes you want to; it's YOUR book dear, and I'm just the artists ;) :)

Thanks again, this is great! :)

Thanks TJ. Yes good idea.

I thought maybe the shadow doing a Nazi salute and the sword/snake stuck in the ground next to him. Also, maybe the sword/snake a little bigger also.

I have the EU flag. I thought that would cover us but now you have mentioned it maybe it should be in?

I think this cover is really good, Gary. I agree with The Judge about the snakes and the flag. I'm not sure about the shadow doing a Nazi salute - I feel it would pull my attention to the shadow too much, rather than seeing/feeling the whole thing. I hope that helps.

My jaw dropped and I gasped when I saw the cover. Definitely something that would make me snatch it up and read the dust jacket.
I love how imposing the ghost is by not being imposing. His stance is one of casual self worth that takes credit for his surroundings while at the same time dismissing them as unimportant. I love the way the eye is drawn to him and the building first then as the focus widens one takes in the death he is standing on and the countries represented by their flags.
Sorry didn't notice the snakes in the foreground till after I read TJs comment, but they do add an element of underhanded danger to the feel of it all.

If this were a still from the opening of a movie I would expect it to resolve into a lovely day shot where the horrors depicted here would linger like a nightmare in the welcome morning sun, lending a feel of misplaced unease to the smile and friendly welcome of the charming figure approaching.

What a wonderful suprise! I'm sure my reaction would be the same if it were me :) you truly have a generous heart, and I continue to wish you all the best.

Thank everybody:)

Anymore feedback gratefully received and then it's onwards and upwards.

A funny thing happened a couple of weeks ago. I'd done At's blog and got an email from her (it wasn't) saying why have you stole my art and why are you using my name.

I replied and said, "You have found out my little secret but it's yours as a present for doing my artwork."

A reply came saying, "Ah, you're Gary. This is not Aty. I'm her cousin and I'm checking her emails while she's at her uncle's funeral. I was surfing the net and found the website."

I couldnt bloody believe it as Victor Meldrew would say. Anyway I asked her to delete our conversation from Aty's email account and keep stum, which she did.

Just goes to show you can't keep secrets on the net.

Very cool, I like the glow. The WW2 flags in the back is a nice touch. A shadowy figure holding a serpent cane is spooky.

I like it.

I really like the cover, Gary (and A.S. Behsam). Similar to The Judge, I think perhaps a little more definition on the central figure and the snake cane would draw me in slightly more, but it's not a big issue. I don't think you need the salute - with the flags visible, the snake menace and the skulls, the message comes over loud and clear to me.

Good luck. Looking forward to seeing what comes next. :)

Ah!! The impetuosness of youth.

I gave Aty her login details, set her up as an admin.

What does she go and do? She decides to alter the domain name somewhere in the scripting. So now, I can't get access as the main admin. I have had to delete and will re-install today:(

So if you are looking, you will find only a placeholder page:)
