I wondered why you were reading from Part Two of the trilogy when I'd just bought Part Three, City of Light and Shadow.

That was the first book I grabbed from the dealers room after I was told, "You know you're supposed to be doing a reading now...?" (And yes, I did take it back afterwards.) Nothing like being prepared... and that really was nothing like being prepared!

Fairly gutted that I didn't get to go, as it's my local con. Won't be there next year either - I wonder if they have conventions in the Middle East? If not, I invite the entire forum to my apartment in Riyadh and we'll have our own. I'll bake and everything.
