Small beer vs normal beer

All known laws of good taste!

And given that Sussex landlords are probably ruining a fair amount of Harveys in this way, their sins are multiplied sevenfold even unto the seventh generation.

If smoking enormous briar pipes and puffing acrid clouds of second hand Lakeland Shag into the atmosphere was no longer an illegal act, I'd be down there myself taking some direct action!

Oh, Gary! The sweaters are from designs from the Irish Aran Islands, not the Isle of Arran, in Scotland. Arran does have a nice microbrewery, though. Nice beer as I recall.

You had to point that out. Peter might not have read it and I could've gone to my grave, thinking I'd got the bugger:)

I did Google it after my post and realised.

The Isle of Arran could have Arran sweaters. They do have sheep right? Pete could be up there chasing them as we speak. I know that as a Cumbrian, sheep harrasing is one of his favorite pastimes.

"Where's my wellies, luv?":)

We've probably had too much information on this now except:
What do you mean by this? Do you mean ploughing downhill? Do you mean slash and burning of forests? Otherwise, I can't see how you can say it was 'intensively' farmed. They grew the same crops continuously on the same land until they wouldn't grow there any more. There was no crop rotation, no fertilisation except by the free ranging animals, no enclosures, no weedkillers and large areas left fallow.

I agree that we're way off topic, so happy to leave it.

No such luck, Compton!

Only one of them. I also enjoy dry stone walling in ice storms and setting my dogs on tourists. Especially the cyclists with their silly lycra body stockings.

"Where's my wellies, luv?"

That's not how you do it. You roll them on to their backs. If you use wellies, you can't kiss them.

Peter
