There is a delicate balance between Nouns and Pronouns. Something I do in my writing is write a page and then go back and read the page. If I notice myself using a word too many times in a paragraph I will change the wording where it will flow better. I don't think I am using either Nouns or Pronouns more than the other but now that you mention it I think I am going to go back and read it again to check for that.
