I have the Sage of Exiles trilogy. I remember reading this in the mid 1980s. Although the memory is a little dim I do recall thinking at the time (and since) that The Many Coloured Land should be considered a classic of the Genre. Perhaps the folk at Masterworks will add it to their list (if they've not already). Overall an excellent series.

I loved these when they came out and keep saying I'll re-read them. I really hope to find the time one day.

Will do! I have to hope there will be time for lots of reading when the world stops caring what I write. For the now, while someone will give me $$ for words, I have to put most of my reading plans on hold.

Julian May will be high on my tbr-r list though.
