3.10: Game of Thrones - Mhysa

Just watched this episode for a second time and it was better the second time round. I'm always to excited watching each episode and like to go back and see them again, I take in more each sitting.

It was good seeing Ramsay finally named and the beginning of REEK.

The character most surprising me at the moment is Stannis. I never really thought I would like Stannis but he did this in the books to me also. When he makes that decision to go to the aid of the Wall I gain a new degree of respect for him. I don't think he will ever sit on the throne or maybe briefly but overall I think he is a good guy.

Arya her road has really just begun and I love her story so,looking forward to it.

Loved Tywin - Joffrey exchange. I think we really know who is in charge here. Poor Tyrion again though, I think he realise there is no love lost between him and Tywin.

Lenny: agree though it was nice to see Jamie again, he's a bit early!

Ah and so ends another season and again our wait begins...........

I've not seen this season yet (only read the reviews, and waiting for the DVD), but I can't help feeling that if Jaime and Brienne had been omitted, there'd be some non-book-readers out there on the interwebz wondering what had befallen them, given that their story has been an important thread through season three.

Btw I too get the feeling that the story is Dany's and her dragons. She and they are the real gamechangers. She is honest, kind and fair; three things which are usually enough to get you killed (just ask the Starks!), but she has dragons to back up her words.

In the usual tales, you would expect all of the warring factions to unite against the White Walkers, but in this worid who knows?

I think Martin has said that his Dragons are metaphors for nuclear weapons in the modern world. Of course how that fits into the Wars of the Roses is a little difficult.
