C M Kornbluth

Kornbluth was a serious s.f. writer who also was somewhat funny at times, though with an edge of satire. You could check out the short stories "The Little Black Bag" or "The Marching Morons" to get a taste of his approach. Like Baylor, I also admire "The Mindworm".

The Mindworm was how found him. Its the first story by him I ever read. It was in vampire anthology book.
