"Fool's Assassin" - Book 1 of 'The Fitz and the Fool Trilogy', hopefully coming 2014!

YAY!

My biggest conflict now though is that I don't own any of the Farseer books in hardback (barring Piebald Prince). So do I get it in hardback, but have it larger than the rest so unaable to sit there on the shelf or get it in paperback and pass on hardbacks!

I am pumped. Overseas, I have all paperbacks but didn't hesitate to order the hardcover version :)

@Overread , have you read this yet?

I am excited to read it. I have 80 pages left in my Fool's Fate re-read. It has been a packed 3-4 months of Fitz leading up to this so I hope it's good :)

Noo :( I even got it Kindle version so I'd have a head-start and then got distracted by other things that stopped me - but I will!!

I finished Fool's Assassin this weekend. I almost read the whole thing on plane rides last week. It was not what I expected at all. I did enjoy it a lot, and am not excited to wait a couple more years to read on but it still left me missing something. I can't quite put my finger on it though.

After reading nothing but Fitz for a few months I guess I really put myself into his world so all the upsetting things were amplified for me.

Well worth the read!

Just finished it yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Hobb is still one of the few authors who can make me cry; she gets under Fitz's skin in such a way that she really makes us feel his pain.

@Juliana Imagine how it feels to read all the Fitz books in a row and end with that one..It was intense. I'm glad you like it too :)

Bee is my new favourite character...

Yup, you've had an intense ride, reading them all at once. I did that with the other books (apart from Rain Wilds) as they were all out when I discovered Hobb.

Yeah Bee was awesome. It was strange at first to have 2 1st person POV's but it was fine after a while

Yeah, I read the 6 Fitz books in a row when i first found them, then went back to liveship and the others when they came out.

Bee was a character that you could really picture hey?
