well that was the fun part about seeing the comments on the recieving end, since things got shuffled about i wasnt sure who got mine just from the replies

Ahh yes, deliberate misdirection on my part, that was it.

So, ok, let me get this straight: even after two Sekrit Santas, my story still hasn't been written? And every time, hope sends me somebody else's story. Hmm. I think I'll try a different request for the next one. Oh, wait, I'm supposed to be running the next one, I think?

Bwahahaha! I shall send my request to everyone, regardless of what anyone else asks for. That should surely do it. I will have my alternate universes with flowers, I will, I will.

TDZ...you didn't get one for your request? I didn't my first go around but I did get a lovely other story that was so graciously donated by Hopewrites...so she wrote both of my stories

One of the problems with this may occur because we got an odd number of participants. Not sure how to get round it without the fun becoming a little prescriptive, though.

I've been very lucky - got my haunted house ghostie one last time, and my surreal horror one this time. You know my requests are always going to be for scary spirit, paranormal witness-y kinda hits

Ratsy, I thought I did, but hope says it was for the request of "older MC portal fantasy". It did sort of have my alternate-things (not quite universes) and flowers, though. I think mine wandered off into an alternate universe! It's ok, I'm not picky, so whatever it takes to make it work is fine with me -- I enjoy whatever I get! (And I did!)

Aww, how sweet of you guys! Thanks, ratsy -- I love my story about Kolorada! Except, you know, you blew it up. Err...so what story did you get, if I got yours, then?


I still haven't gotten to most of the stories yet, but I hope to make it tonight. On the other hand, I did get an idea for the 300 this afternoon, so I may do that instead, since the stories will still be there but the writing deadline looms. We shall see.

Actually both times I have been blow away by the awesomely surprising AND spot on response to my requests. I still havent taken the time to put one and two together and thank the person who wrote for me this go round, epically awesome and I got it right on the day I needed to (so dont feel bad that it took so long to get it to me Victoria, it wasnt your fault, the universe was holding it up so that I would get it at just the right moment.)
I've got the laundry sorted and am working my way through the mail and photographs. I swear reading is climbing the list.

I am glad you liked it...don't worry..Colorado is safe, this was an alternate universe...and I know my description was more Utah like

Also I am sorry I made the flowers burn too...

We both got my request from Hope so I did get my story..that's why I felt bad you didn't get one...and not getting it twice was a shame.

It looked like mine had a home for a while, but not now, so I've stuck it up. It probably only, really, makes sense to those who've read any of my Abendau stuff, but it was a fun one for Mouse, with two characters she likes, and not meant to be taken seriously. Anyhow, here it is.
