The BBC has revived a few science fiction based series over the years and recently we witnessed the remake of The Day Of The Triffids and now it is the turn of Survivors.
During the 1970’s Survivors was a long running series in fact thirty eight episodes were made in total, it was scary glimpse into a future world where the population of the world has been virtually wiped out by a plague.
The most recent attempted at Survivors did not appear to live up to expectations, but it has been given a second chance with the new series starting on BBC One on Tuesday the 12th January.
The BBC has released a trailer just in case viewers wish to get reacquainted with the story and some of the characters.
