Angry Robot open door

Whereas my space opera is too long, even it it was ready ...... :)

Have until the end of the year anyway...

Well...I did it. I just finished clicking "submit" and got confirmation of reception. We'll see what comes of it, if anything.

:) Good luck WriterJosh...

In the interests of making life a leetle bit interesting, let's start a table:

WriterJosh subbed 28th Oct. SF or F or WTF. Awaiting response.

Who's next?

Thanks. I now wonder if I haven't made a mistake. I was happy with my first chapter until several glaring flaws were pointed out over at the critique thread. And that's just the first chapter!

Anyone else go for this? I'm still thinking about it. Hoping guidance might come to me in a dream.

You know I can't remember whether or not I sent Mayhem in. I'm fairly sure I did. It was about the time I was deciding whether or not to basically scrap the story.

Ha! Same here. I think I did, because I had it in my bookmarks bar fro ages and its not there anymore. Or was that Strange Chemistry? Who knows?

Oh that's right it was Strange Chemistry lol It's my urban I wanted to send in to Angry Robot but I decided to do the Richard and Judy thing instead.

Hey, I'm planning to do R and J too. Working on my 1k word synopsis at the moment.

Me too. I changed which story I was sending so now I need a new one. I had planned on sending one called the Goddess Equation to R&J and one called Cuckoo in Black's Nest to Angry Robot. But I decided Cuckoo is my better story and I'm sending it to R&J instead. They're both of the WTF variety (I call them Wrinkly Urbans but I guess I can't use that in a submission)

You could squeeze Wrinkly Urbans into a synopsis somewhere, to make it nice and voicey!

I'm putting the finishing touches to mine. I was surprised to find they've allowed two single-spaced pages for the synopsis. Wisely or otherwise, I've used the lot.
