Cheers Ratsy. I still haven't read your submission for Malevolence but I have a few to read over the weekend.

Remember, we need a good story with drama and maybe a twist, well written with good characters and dialogue - no pressure!:eek:
 
Then you should love my Malevolence entry!! I really hope you like it..I worked hard on it. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts one way or the other if you don't mind.
 
No budgies, but there is a cunning twisty plot.

Finished the draft of my effort today Gary. Still needs a bit of tweaking and polishing but almost there

Budgie Wrangling - Feathers, Squawks and Bird-poo is the next anthology would you believe.
 
Just flung this from the creative catapult towards the lofty bastions of Castle Compton.

Edited extra bit: although, now I think about it, that does make it sound like my story's intended to try and destroy Gary...

You will never get past the Patriot missile system and I have a chattering of killer budgies I cloned from your Malevolence story.

Ah, but I have a cunning plan. My steampunkesque story will be about an infamous budgie wrangler. You'll have no choice but to accept it!

Eh lad, me Geordie cousin used to breed and sell budgies in Gateshead when he wor a young lad. Of course, he gave some as presents to the family. Me grandparents loved theirs, especially Grandpa and his quiet green Joey who used to walk along his arm... you always got to watch the quiet ones... they're the ones that are intelligent and can slip passed you...;)
 
i have a tale set in Cornwall about pirates, tax collectors and rare birds. It's called the Budgie Smugglers.
