Yeah, I doubt there'll be many others saying it! But I do think it needs to seed more.

I think if I'd been Williams' editor, I'd have done to him what Feist's first editor did to him - first tell him it needs to be longer with a bunch of extra scenes to round it out, then tell him to cut 50,000 words from it.

Writer problems: the shiny new thing.

Shiny New Thing
That is so opposite to me! I hate new projects. If I was condemned by some writing court to spend the rest of my life only working on things I've already started, I would weep for joy.

(Some elements of this post might have been slightly exaggerated.)
